Firewood must be purchased locally. No wood from infected areas of the province is allowed in the park.
Our campground is conveniently located a short 40 minute drive north of the Pickering, Ajax, Whitby Oshawa area. We open in spring on the last weekend in April, and close the weekend after the Canadian Thanksgiving. We are also open for Winter Camping from mid December through the end of Febuary, for people with a trailer in our park providing that there is enough snow on the ground.
From 401 Eastbound at Whitby
Turn north at the junction of Highway 401 and Highway 12, (exit 410, Brock Street in Whitby) and continue driving north on Highway 12, do not turn east on Highway 7A. You will pass through the villages of Brooklin, Myrtle Station, and Greenbank. Keep going north until you have passed through Sunderland. Once past Sunderland you need to turn right off Highway 12 ,(about 3 Kms), towards Lindsay on Highway 7. The campground is on the south side of the road 2Kms from Highway 12. Driving time is about 40 minutes.
From 401 Eastbound at Hwy. 115/35
Take the exit for Hwy. 115/35 posted Lindsay & Peterborough. When you get to the split, take Hwy 35 north until you reach the outskirts of Lindsay. Turn left at the lights onto Hwy 7 West. It takes about 20 minutes, (at the speed limit) to drive the 27 Kilometers to the campground. We are located on the south side of the road, 3 miles west of Manila.
Exit Hwy. 401 at the Simcoe Street exit, ( exit 418 ) in Oshawa. Follow the signs fot Simcoe Street North. Continue north on Simcoe Street through Oshawa, Columbus, Port Perry and Segrave. When you reach the junction with Hwy 7 ( trafic lights, in the village of Manila ), turn left onto Hwy 7. The campground is about an 5 Kms drive to the west. Driving time is about 45 minutes.
From the North
Travel south on Highway 12 until you reach the Junction with Highway 7. Turn left towards Lindsay, the campground is 3 Kms. east of Highway 12.
